Resting for centuries in the Belice Valley, land of Phoenician prosperity, field of Roman domination, home to Arab culture, overlooking the archeologic park of Selinunte where ancient Greek ruins tell a tale of a past long gone, the olive trees of Tenuta Lamiotte are testimonies of history.
The Valley has a tradition of olive cultivation which spans for millennia, passed on between generations until it obtained the DOP certification in 1998. Our fields are located in the town of Castelvetrano, Sicily, and are planted for two thirds with the Nocellara del Belice variety and with Biancolilla for the remaining part.
